Kayrock Screenprinting is pleased to announce Sapal, a collection of print editions and paintings by San Francisco-based artist, Conrad Guevara.
Sapal ng niyog is coconut pulp; the dry, inert, yet edible remains of the fruit once all of its more valuable and delicious assets have been removed to satisfy growing global demand. Reflecting on the practice of wringing every last bit out of the coconut, this exhibition is comprised of 16 abstract paintings (particles). The exhibition will also feature Guevara's Fresh Print!, Kalamansi, published with Kayrock in 2016.
